SOLVENT-FREE RAPID MICROWAVE SYNTHESIS AND ANTIVIRAL ACTIVITY OF 2,4-(I H, 3H)PYRIMIDINEDIONE

چکیده

Microwave-assisted method has wide application in combinatorial chemistry. It become a powerful tool building the bioactive and pharmaceutical important compounds library within short time. In view of pronounced effect methods synthetic chemistry their importance drug discovery, systematic work on solvent-free synthesis 2,4-(IH,3H)Pyrimidinedione(uracil) was carried out. Comparison made between classic (conventional) Novel (microwave-assisted) it found that synthesized by microwave-assisted showed better yield reduced reaction time under safe environment-friendly conditions, while conventional were tedious consuming. The structure elucidation done its melting/boiling points, solubility, thin layer chromatography (TLC) techniques spectral analysis i.e ultraviolet (UV), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) used to get results. pharmacological evaluation compound investigated antiviral activities against Lasota strain NDV (ranikhait disease virus) positive activity
